Method :
Mix beef with black pepper, sugar
and fish sauce and leave to marinate for 15-20 minutes. Heat oil in a wok or frying pan and
stir fry garlic and onion for about 1 minute. Add beef and stir fry for 1 minute. Add green pepper, bamboo shoots,
tomato and spring onions. Continue stir frying for 2-3
minutes, then blend in soy or oyster sauce. Mix corn flour with 1 tablespoon
water and stir into mixture. Cook, stirring, until thickened. Serve with rice noodles.
