Method :
Dice chicken
fillet and marinate with some salt and pepper. Blanch mixed vegetables
in boiling water for a while. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in wok. Sautee chicken
with chopped garlic until fragrant. Add mixed vegetables and cook until
done. Stir in sauce and cook until it thickens. Leave it to cool. Roll
out the pastry and cut into 12 triangles. Arrange filling on each
triangle and brush the sides with water. Fold and seal the edges. Place
the triangles with the sealed seams facing down. Brush beaten egg on
top. Bake in preheated oven at 200C for 5 minutes. Brush with beaten egg
on again and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Continue to bake for about 12
minutes until golden.
Either puff
or short crust ready made pastry can be used for triangles. The filling
should be thick enough to prevent to sauce running out during baking.
