Method :

Heat
the water, wine and vinegar to just below boiling point.

Add
the cabbage, apple and onion and season with salt and pepper.

Cover
and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Stir
in the redcurrant jelly and add more seasoning if needed.

Serve
hot.
