Method :

Mix
together the sauce ingredients.

Put
the beans and apples in a pan, pour on the sauce, bring to the boil,
cove and simmer over low heat for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Scatter with the sultanas to garnish.
Serves 4
Note
: Serve hot, to accompany grilled or roast meats, or cold, as an
appetizer.
