500g yam stalk (peeled and cut into 3cm

3 tbsp fish sauce
sugar to taste

10-12 dried chilies (soaked and drained)
2.5 cm turmeric
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp dried shrimp paste
salt to taste
Mixed and strained the following:
125ml water
1 tbsp tamarind pulp |
