Vineyard Plaice Recipe

fillet of plaice
lemon juice
dry white wine
bay leaf
seedless grapes, or white grapes, skinned
and seeded
clear honey
water
flour
plain low fat yoghurt |
Method :

Season the plaice fillets with salt
and pepper and a sprinkling of lemon juice and roll them up skin
side out.

Place them in greased baking dish, add
the remaining lemon juice, the wine and bay leaf and cover with
foil.

Bake in the oven at 350oF
(180oC), Gas 4 for 20-25 minutes.

While the fish is cooking simmer the
grapes in the honey and water for 5 minutes.

Stir the flour into the yoghurt and
strain the fish liquor into it, stirring all the time.

Bring slowly to the boil, stirring
constantly.

Pour the sauce over the fish and
decorate with the grapes.
