Cut broccoli into small florets.

Cut pepper into 8.

slice courgettes into 2.5 cm (1 in)
pieces and halve.

Trim away tough ends from asparagus
and slice into 5 cm (2 in) pieces.

Place vegetables in a colander and
rinse well.

Bring a wok or large saucepan of
water to the boil.

Arrange vegetables on a layer of
non-stick baking parchment in a steamer and place over water.

Sprinkle with garlic and sesame
oil.

Cover and steam for 10 minutes.

Remove vegetables from steamer and
place on warmed serving plates.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and
serve with soy sauce, for dipping.
