Ingredients :

1 tablespoon
1 teaspoon

2 teaspoons
king prawns
sliced garlic
thin soy sauce
candlenuts, pounded
sugar
corn flour blended with water
sliced ginger
shallots
rice wine
salt
Clean the prawns and wash with salt water.
Drain and remove tails.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
Fry the prawns for 4 minutes.
Remove and drain.
Remove oil and leave just enough to fry the garlic, shallots and ginger.
Add soy sauce, rice wine and pounded candlenuts.
Mix well for 1/2 minute.
Add the prawns.
Season well.
Add the blended corn four to thicken the gravy.
Stir for another 2 minutes and turn off the heat.
Serves 2 - 4
