Method :

Halve peppers lengthways, remove
core and seeds, then halve again.

Place in a roasting pan.

Preheat oven to 190oC
(375oF), Gas 5.

In a small bowl, mix together soy
sauce, chili sauce, oil and ground pepper and spoon over peppers,
turning to make sure they are well coated.

Roast for 30 minutes, or until
softened, basting occasionally.

Transfer roast peppers to warmed
serving plates, sprinkle with chives and serve.
Serves 4
This makes an ideal accompaniment to
Ginger Chicken Patties.
